Maybe you want to launch a business? Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more? Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world?

*Please allow one working week to receive a confirmation email with acceptance or denial to the market*

*Filling out the application more than once is only going to delay the application process; Please only submit one application unless it's for separate or a new small business*

*If you have previously been accepted to The Underground Market but lost access to the vendor portal please send us an email to troubleshoot; You do not need to submit a new application if you've previously been accepted for your current business*

Vendor FAQ

  • If you scroll up you will see the Vendor Application. This application serves for both our Alta Avenue and Oram Street locations.

    Once you have submitted your application you will receive a response to your application within one working week with your vendor status.

  • At The Underground Market we evaluate applications on a first come first serve basis.

    For any approved applicant you will receive a confirmation email within one working week of the application being sent in.

    When applying, please make sure your contact information is update and correct.

  • In order to secure your space at The Underground Market payment must be made.

    Once your application has been reviewed and accepted you will receive explicit instructions how to proceed with purchasing your market space(s),

    Your space is NOT reserved until payment has been made.

  • Vendors who locally make, source and curate their items will always be accepted.

    If your application is denied it may be due to one of the following reasons.

    -Incomplete Application

    -Not Meeting the Acceptance Criteria

    If your application is denied please review your application and resubmit at a later date.

  • If you are applying as a food vendor, please make sure to have all the appropriate certifications prior to the market. You will be asked to provide those after your acceptance to the market.

    You will need to keep a copy of your certifications on you all at times during market days.

    We are not accepting Food Truck Vendors at this time.

  • Right now, we don’t have food truck opportunities at either of our locations.

    Please check back at a later date.

  • We do NOT offer refunds in you are unable to make the market once you have purchased your space.

    Please be ready to fully commit to your market date.

    REMINDER THERE ARE BE NO REFUNDS, CREDITS, OR ROLLOVERS IF YOU CANCEL OR CAN NO LONGER ATTEND. 

  • Right now we only operate outdoors.

    We are a rain or shine market so please be prepared for the outdoor elements when attending our market.

    If we have any markets that operate indoors in the future we will keep you updated!

  • Currently for our weekly markets we DO NOT offer electricity.

  • As a vendor renting a market space from The Underground Market you are required to supply the following for your set up.

    If you are setting up a tent/canopy it is MANDATORY that it is weighted down at all times. There are zero exceptions. If you do not have weights, do not set up a tent.

    Anything you may need for your set up is your responsibility as a vendor. You’re set up is creatively set up and designed by you.

    The list above is not mandatory, but recommended.

    GENERATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT EITHER MARKET UNLESS APPROVED BY THE MARKET ORGANIZERS.
